SIGMA AV6000
ELITE and SLEEK entertainment center supergun

During NeoGeoFreak founders (Chris Ray and Dion Dakis) many visits to Tokyo, Japan, they got to know a lot
more about the culture of the people. But more importantly, they got to know a lot about the "gamers" and especially
the higher end games, systems, collectibles, peripherals, and various gaming equipment products.

Among the higher end "home theater/system" "arcade type" devices that they checked out, they found
that the *SuperGun* of choice in Japan is the high level SIGMA line series.

SIGMA has been making higher end SuperGuns for consumer use for the past 4 years.
A "SuperGun" is a self contained unit that allows for real arcade JAMMA boards
to be played directly at home on your home television/theater system.

With it's beautiful aesthetic and streamlined looks, and small compact design, the SIGMA
units were marketed for the consumer with the "home theater" or "entertainment center" in mind.
The SIGMA units sported 2 standard controller ports, internal power supply, as well as direct
video outputs and stereo out, and their own proprietary JAMMA connector.

The SIGMA is one of the more popular SuperGun systems in Japan, and for very good reasons. They are factory
manufactured, not hand-made like other similar devices found in the United States and abroad. Coming from the
SIGMA 3000, 4000, and the ever  popular top selling 5000 model, SIGMA created an updated version known
as the "SIGMA 6000."  The 6000 model added brightness controls, RGB output, stereo and mono options,
and even S-video and HD out (with the proper cables). All in their usualy compact and sleek little packaging.

NeoGeoFreak staff was the very first to bring the SIGMA 6000 to the USA, and make mention of it openly.
No one had ever heard of, let alone seen a picture of, the "SIGMA" till NGF glorified it to various arcade and
gaming enthusiasts. The world-wide response from gamers was a unique blend of curiosity and desire to own one.

NeoGeoFreak didn't get the SIGMA with the intention to sell it, they got it because Dion wanted it for his personal
collection of JAMMA and other arcade type boards. Dion never cared for the SuperGuns made in the States, but
was forced to use them for lack of anything significantly better for JAMMA boards for his theater center specifications.

Dion decided to sell the item and go with a "multi/emu" cabinet instead, to match his growing dedicated cabinet collection.
Thus, now the word was out about the "SIGMA 6000" and the rest is part of the added "NGF history/legacy" that seems
to always follow what "NeoGeoFreak / NGF-USA" does and promotes. Since NeoGeoFreak co founder Dion Dakis
owned the SIGMA, was the first to bring the SIGMA to USA shores, promoted it, and even recommended it as the top
notch "high end" Supergun, the gaming world has been taken by storm scouring to learn about them and to now, buy them up.

The dedicated SIGMA controllers are amazingly sturdy and machine manufactured just as the SIGMA units are.
A truly beautiful SuperGun set up for any person that has or plans on building and playing arcade JAMMA
boards at home. As we said, these are the perfect solution for your "entertainment centers" and premium set ups.

The SIGMA 6000 retails for about $300.00 for the unit alone.
The proprietary JAMMA connector is $30.00
The SUPER PRO STICK controller retails for $150.00 (each)
Total for the complete set up ranges from about $585.00 to $630.00 plus shipping of about $100.00 (total of $685 to $730)

The SIGMA is pretty heavy, as is the SPS controller.
Shipping from Japan for the SIGMA and 2 SPSs will cost about $100 to $150 by EMS
and only $80 or so by surface, all depending on where and which country to reside in.

NeoGeoFreak / NGF-USA would like to point out that we do not sell these items.
Anytime we go to Japan, we will be more than happy to pick up a few for all the people that ask us to buy one for them.

Also to be noted, Sigma just released a newer version called the "SIGMA 7000."
It is the exact same as the 6000 model, but is a metallic "blue/silver" in color instead of black.

****NeoGeoFreak / NGF-USA highly recommends the SIGMA 6000 and 7000 units.****
